Home Page

Hello and welcome to the corner of my classroom which intersects with the World Wide Web. My name is Mr. Hall, and I teach high school science at North Thurston High School in Lacey, WA. This web site is designed to be a resource for you, my students, and your parents. I hope you find it a useful tool over the course of the school year. If you ever have any suggestions for improving the site, or if you'd just like to give me some feedback about a particular portion of the site that you really enjoyed or disliked, please feel free to contact me.

In the individual class sections of the site, you'll find calendars letting you know what's happening in our classroom on a daily basis (including assignments and due dates), links to sites that are helpful, and printable copies of outlines, articles, worksheets, vocab words, and other resources. All the downloads are in PDF format*.

The Links section of the site has links that are not directly related to the units we're studying, but they include some very useful sites, some interesting sites, and some sites that are just a heck of a lot of fun. Be sure to let me know which sites you checked out and enjoyed.

*For PDF documents, you'll need a copy of Adobe Reader (a free program) to be able to view and print these. Most computers already have Adobe Reader installed. If you don't have it already, I highly recommend installing it. [Note: be careful about what you need to check (or uncheck) when installing the program (or any program). Many of the companies nowadays seem to like to try and piggyback another "sample" program with their installation.]
